The Cup That Matches the Coffee
The Geisha Murderer Cup was designed to answer that. A 150ml specialty coffee sensory cup designed by Jay Kim of UFO in Korea, it is built around a single conviction: the right cup doesn't just hold great coffee. It transforms how you receive it.
Aroma First, Then Taste
The bellowed body curves inward before opening into a wide, concave form, channeling steam and volatile aromatics upward and inward, concentrating every floral and fruity note into the space just before your nose meets the rim. You smell the coffee before it touches your lips, and with Geisha, that moment alone changes everything. From there, the flared rim takes over, designed to be thinner at the edge, guiding the coffee evenly across your tongue. Brightness at the tip, sweetness through the mid, Geisha's jasmine florals, stone-fruit clarity, and tea-like delicacy all landing exactly as intended.
One Serving, Nothing Wasted
At 150ml, a single serving, the volume is purposeful. Enough for a full filter pour, and focused enough to hold temperature and concentration from the first sip to the last. A soft yet lively pink transmutation glaze finishes each piece, no two alike, completing a wholistic sensory experience that begins the moment you lift it from the table.
