George Jinyang Peng, the 2025 World Brewers Cup Champion, used the SOLO Dripper to win the prestigious competition in Jakarta. A seasoned competitor with vast experience, George impressed the judges with his smooth presentation and an award-winning coffee that showcased exceptional clarity and balance. The SOLO Dripper - featuring its signature 40° angle, curved base - played a crucial role in his success, delivering consistent flow, even saturation, and optimal extraction throughout his routine.
Optimized Flow Design
With a 40° internal angle and sloped bottom, the SOLO Dripper promotes smooth, balanced extraction. The geometry naturally directs water flow for even saturation, delivering consistent, clean cups with every brew.
Durable. Portable. Versatile.
Crafted from food-safe, BPA-free PCTG plastic, the SOLO Dripper is built to perform—whether at home, in a café, on the competition stage, or while traveling. The complete SOLO System includes:
A standalone dripper compatible with most glass servers
A dual-purpose ceramic server that doubles as a tasting cup
A compact, protective container for convenient travel
Each component is carefully crafted with thoughtful design details that elevate both the brewing process and the experience.
Outer support ribs provide a secure, balanced fit on a variety of brewing vessels - a holder is included for additional elevated support
Colors of actual products might show up slightly different than in the product photos. This is due to the various settings of monitors. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
Products that have a shimmering coating will also show differently under different lighting setup. Colors might appear different even under a fluorescent light or a warmer shade bulb.
The SOLO HIFLUX Filter 165 is a custom-designed wave filter, developed in collaboration with HIFLUX to precisely match the geometry and flow characteristics of the SOLO dripper.
With a design that is both aesthetically refined and technically advanced, the SOLO dripper required a filter engineered to match its exacting standards. After extensive discussions, testing, and development, HIFLUX has successfully achieved this goal.
Throughout the process, the HIFLUX Team was strongly influenced by Jackie Tran, the creator of the SOLO dripper. His deep commitment to coffee and his outstanding design expertise have redefined the standards of modern specialty coffee brewing. It is clear why the SOLO dripper has earned admiration from brewers around the world.
