ORIGAMI Ceramic Dripper - Medium for 1-4 Cup Brewing
Regular price $40.75 Save $-40.75The ORIGAMI Dripper Medium is sized for 1-4 cup brewing, for a brew prepared for sharing or at cafés preparing larger brews up to 40 grams dosage.
Handcrafted in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, the ceramic heartland of Japan, the ORIGAMI Small Ceramic Dripper carries the same Mino-yaki porcelain tradition as its larger counterpart: a craft four to five hundred years old, practiced today by only a few dozen artisans. In your hands it is a brewer. In theirs it is a continuation of something much older.
The 20-fold interior works with both conical and wave style filters, giving you the freedom to brew to the cup you want, not the equipment you have. Conical filters encourage faster airflow and a brighter extraction. Wave filters settle the flow, producing something fuller and rounder. The porcelain holds heat steadily through both.
Mino-yaki is the ceramic tradition of the Toki area in Gifu Prefecture, a region long celebrated in Japan for its pottery and washi paper. The techniques used to produce ORIGAMI Drippers are the same ones that have shaped ceramics in this region for generations, refined over centuries and carried forward by the artisans who remain.
The ORIGAMI Dripper was designed by the founder of Trunk Coffee in collaboration with these makers. The result is a brewer shaped by both the culture it comes from and the demands of specialty coffee. It has been used by World Brewers Cup competitors and sits equally well on a competition table or a kitchen counter.
The 20-fold interior of the ORIGAMI Dripper Medium does two things well. With a conical filter, the folds create airflow channels between the filter and the dripper wall, encouraging faster, more even extraction. With a wave filter, the flat bed geometry changes the brew dynamic entirely, slowing flow rate and producing a fuller, rounder cup. One dripper, two distinct approaches.
The high-density Mino porcelain retains heat through the full pour, keeping the brew bed temperature stable from bloom to drawdown.
A dripper collar or holder is strongly recommended to stabilize the ORIGAMI Dripper during brewing and prevent it from sitting directly in the server. The ORIGAMI Wooden Holder and ORIGAMI AS Resin Holder are both available separately and sized for this dripper.

UFO Dripper V3
Regular price $50.00 Save $-50.00The 2026 World Brewers Cup Champion Nas Jaafar (representing Malaysia) brewer of choice.
The UFO Dripper V3 is a standalone dripper that can be adapted to the "Hario Switch" brewing system.
At the core of the V3 is an 80° interior angle designed to promote steady drawdown while maintaining even bed saturation. This angle supports efficient flow through the coffee bed, helping reduce channeling and minimizing stall. Rather than relying on aggressive flow restriction or mechanical intervention, the structure itself regulates movement and extraction.
This geometry also improves performance across a wider grind spectrum - extraction remains controlled and predictable, allowing grind size and pour adjustments to translate clearly into the cup.
Profiles remain expressive yet structured.
The negative channel design supports balanced airflow during drawdown, preventing vacuum lock and reducing turbulence. By stabilizing the brew bed and minimizing uneven water distribution, the V3 maintains clarity and a controlled flow.
The result is faster, consistent drawdown without sacrificing balance.
The larger brew chamber increases practical flexibility. It accommodates higher doses and a broader range of brew ratios while offering greater tolerance for controlled agitation. This enables movement between lighter, clarity-focused brews and fuller extractions without destabilizing the bed.
The V3 functions as a standalone percolation dripper with stable flow characteristics. It is equally engineered for adaptation. When paired with the Hario Switch base, it becomes a hybrid immersion system.
In this configuration, you can extend contact time, hold water before release, and intentionally increase extraction depth. The same geometry that supports clean percolation also ensures controlled immersion drawdown once the valve is opened.
One brewer with two distinct extraction approaches. The 80 degree UFO Dripper V3 delivers structural clarity, adaptable workflow, and repeatable results without unnecessary complexity.
Material: Food Safe Triton Resin
Weight: 250g approx
For up to 4 cup brewing.
Colors of actual products might show up slightly different than in the product photos. This is due to the various settings of monitors. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
Products that have a shimmering coating will also show differently under different lighting setup. Colors might appear different even under a fluorescent light or a warmer shade bulb.
UFO was designed for use with Sibarist Fast flat and B3 papers, although this template can be used to fold any flat filter. Simply fold once in half, then fold to match the angle below (feel free to take a screenshot and print this diagram).

UFO Dripper V3 01
Regular price $47.00 Save $-47.00The UFO Dripper V3 01 from UFO Coffee Tools is the size 01 version of the V3, built around the same 80 degree interior angle and negative channel structure as the larger model, sized for doses in the 1-2 cup range. It brews on its own as a percolation dripper, and it sits directly onto a Hario Switch base when you want to hold the water instead.
The V3 line is built on one decision: open the cone from the 60 degree angle most conical brewers use out to 80 degrees. A wider wall means a shallower bed, and a shallower bed means the depth of the coffee barely moves when the dose does. That is what makes a conical repeatable in the way a flat bottom usually is, without giving up the clarity and acidity people brew conicals for in the first place.
Inside the cone, the wall carries negative channels instead of protruding ribs. The paper seats against a smooth surface rather than clinging to a rib, so airflow stays even and pressure equalizes above and below the brewer. In the 01, that structure sits around a smaller chamber, which is the whole point of this size: the geometry that keeps drawdown stable, on a size that suits the amount of coffee you are actually brewing.
The body is Tritan, a food safe copolyeste. It is BPA free, it resists warping at boiling temperatures, and it conducts heat far less readily than metal or glass, so the slurry holds its temperature more steadily through the pour. On a smaller dose, where thermal loss shows up faster, that stability does more work than it does at volume.
The 80 degree interior angle promotes steady drawdown while keeping the bed evenly saturated. It supports efficient flow through the coffee, reduces channeling, and minimizes stall. Nothing here restricts flow mechanically or forces it: the structure itself regulates how water moves.
The same geometry widens the useful grind range. Extraction stays controlled and predictable, so a change in grind size or pour translates clearly into the cup. Profiles stay expressive and structured.
The negative channel design supports balanced airflow during drawdown, preventing vacuum lock and reducing turbulence. By stabilizing the brew bed and evening out water distribution, it holds clarity and a controlled flow. Drawdown is faster and consistent, and balance stays intact.
The smaller brew chamber of the UFO V3 01 favors smaller brews and the precision that comes with them. It takes doses of roughly 12 to 18 grams on a bed surface that will feel familiar if you have brewed a size 01 conical before. There is still room to move between lighter, clarity focused brews and fuller extractions without destabilizing the bed.
The base of the UFO V3 01 is silicone rather than rigid plastic, so it has some give and sits softly on a server or cup. It detaches easily, which is what makes the hybrid setup below possible.
On its own, it works as a percolation dripper with stable flow. Take the silicone base off and seat the cone on a Hario Switch base, and it becomes a hybrid immersion brewer. In that configuration you can extend contact time, hold water before releasing it, and deliberately push extraction deeper. The geometry that keeps percolation clean also keeps the immersion drawdown controlled once the valve opens.
One brewer, two distinct extraction approaches, without adding complexity to the workflow.
The 01 takes UFO Type A 01 filters, Type F 01 filters, and the Sibarist FAST UFO Special Edition in size 01. It seats on a Hario Switch base for immersion brewing, and on the included silicone base for standard percolation.
