Mazelab Solo Sip Ceramic Server/Tasting Cup

part of the Mazelab Solo Dripper brewing system
A single serving of pour over usually takes more pieces than the coffee does. A dripper, a server to catch the brew, a cup to taste it from, and three things to rinse afterward. The Mazelab Solo Sip puts the server and the tasting cup into one piece of ceramic, so the coffee stays where it landed until you drink it. The mouth is cut on a slant that holds a dripper directly, and a small spout at the front lets you pour into other cups when there is enough to share.
It comes from Jackie Tran, a finalist at the 2024 World Brewers Cup, and was designed in Prague. The starting point was a vessel that could do the work of two: catch a single brew as it falls, then serve as the cup you taste it from.
The slanted mouth is the piece that makes both jobs possible. Cut to match the profile of a dripper, it seats the brewer on top without a stand or a separate holder. That same angle draws the opening in toward the front, where a small spout gives you a defined edge to pour from instead of a wide ceramic rim.
Nothing is decanted along the way, which means the coffee is tasted in the ceramic it was brewed into, at the temperature it arrived at. The body carries a soft brushed matte exterior, a finish that reads as texture rather than gloss when you pick it up.
Set your dripper into the slanted mouth and brew straight into the vessel. The 400ml capacity holds a single serving with headroom above the brew. When the water has drawn through, lift the dripper away and drink from the same vessel, or use the front spout to pour into tasting cups.

We work very diligently to provide products that are clean and in unused conditions. In observance of the current situation, we will not be able to accept return of cups and sip-wares.
We appreciate your understanding.Colors of actual products might show up slightly different than in the product photos. This is due to the various settings of monitors. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.
Products that have a shimmering coating will also show differently under different lighting setup. Colors might appear different even under a fluorescent light or a warmer shade bulb.
Solo Sip Sensory by Mazelab

A cup used for tasting does a different job than a cup used for serving. The shape of the rim, the way the form holds aroma, the way the liquid arrives at your palate: those details decide how much of the coffee you actually catch. The Solo Sip Sensory by Mazelab is a ceramic cup made for that job. It is the Solo Sip with the spout removed, an uninterrupted form built for focused tasting rather than pouring and sharing.
Mazelab is a roastery and coffee shop in Prague, founded by Jackie and Thu. The Solo brewing system came out of that shop, designed by Jackie Tran, the 2024 Czech Republic Brewers Cup Champion, and built around geometry: a dripper with a 40 degree internal angle and a sloped base, a wave filter, a server, and a tasting cup, each shaped to work with the others. George Jinyang Peng used the Solo Dripper to win the 2025 World Brewers Cup in Jakarta.
The original Solo Sip is a server and tasting cup in one, with a small spout for pouring into other cups. The Sensory keeps everything except that spout. The shape is identical, including the slanted mouth that follows the dripper’s geometry, which Mazelab designed to guide aroma and flow directly to the palate.
Removing the spout leaves the rim continuous the whole way around, and that is the whole change. Mazelab describes the inner form as supporting clarity, sweetness, and structure in the cup. This is the version the team has been using in competition, and it is now in their shops as well.
A single piece of ceramic with no handle and no spout. The mouth is cut on a slant that follows the geometry of the Solo Dripper, so the rim sits higher on one side than the other. The exterior is finished in a soft brushed matte that feels calm and natural in the hand, and it comes in one color, beige.
