TANAT x APAX LAB Lucid [2.1] Mineral Concentrate in 20ml

Lucid [2.1] is a mineral concentrate developed to sharpen aromatic clarity and brightness in the brews of light roast coffee.

A light roast shows what it's made of in the details you can taste past the surface: the fruit, the florals, the fine acidity that either comes through clean or gets lost in translation. Water plays a larger part in that outcome than most brewers give it credit for. Lucid [2.1] is a mineral concentrate designed to work with a clean, expressive, bright roasting style, sharpening the aromatics and the finish rather than covering them up.

A Collaboration with APAX LAB

Lucid [2.1] was co-created with APAX LAB, an Australian company that designs high-precision mineral concentrates for coffee. Their work centers on isolating the mineral ratios that shape how aroma and acidity present in the cup, then concentrating them into a form that's simple to dose and easy to repeat.

Paired with TANAT's roasting approach, Lucid [2.1] was tuned to bring out what a bright, expressive light roast is built to show: clearer aromatics, elevated brightness, and a more refined finish. The result is a cup that reads as clean and precise, without asking the brewer to change anything else about how they already brew.

How to Use

Shake well  before use, so the concentrate is evenly mixed.

Dose per cup  add 1 to 2 drops to a cup of freshly brewed coffee, about 200 ml.

Water Remineralization

Lucid [2.1] can also be used to remineralize brewing water directly. Add it to distilled water at a rate of 1.5 to 2.5 grams per liter, ahead of brewing, for a version of the same clarity built into the water itself.
