Celebrate the First-Ever ORIGAMI Cup USA with the Official Brewing Bundle

To commemorate the very first ORIGAMI Cup USA Brewing Competition, we’ve partnered with Amaya Coffee to bring you something truly special: the Official ORIGAMI CUP Brewing Bundle.

The ORIGAMI CUP is a unique brewing competition that welcomes both professional baristas and home brewers - regardless of experience level. It’s a celebration of creativity, curiosity, and community, where coffee lovers come together to connect, compete, and share their passion for the perfect cup brewed with the iconic ORIGAMI Dripper.

To mark this exciting occasion, we’ve collaborated with Amaya Coffee to offer a limited number of official brewing bundles, featuring the same coffee used in this year’s competition.

La Danta will be roasted on April 30, and all bundles will ship within 24 hours of roasting.

If other coffees are included in your order, they will also roast and ship on April 30.

About La Danta – The Competition Coffee

Sourced from the highlands of Cajamarca, Peru, La Danta is a communal lot produced near San Ignacio and Jaén, regions renowned for their breathtaking Andean landscapes and long-standing coffee traditions. Named after the Andean tapir, an endangered mountain-dwelling herbivore, this coffee reflects the care and biodiversity of its origin.

While Cajamarca is now Peru’s largest coffee-producing region, the farmers contributing to La Danta have deep roots in the land, with many inheriting their farms from previous generations. These young producers are innovating by planting new varieties, refining fermentation and drying techniques, and adopting more sustainable practices using organic byproducts from their farms.

La Danta is a fully washed coffee, fermented for 25 - 40 hours in sealed bags or open-air tanks, depending on each farm’s climate. After careful washing, the coffee is dried on raised beds for 15–20 days, reaching a final moisture content of 10–11 percent.

The result is a cup that’s remarkably clean, sweet, and balanced, with layered notes of stone fruit, berries, and a subtle florality - a true showcase of thoughtful cultivation and meticulous processing.

Colors of actual products might show up slightly different than in the product photos. This is due to the various settings of monitors. Every monitor or mobile display has a different capability to display colors, and every individual may see these colors differently. In addition, lighting conditions at the time the photo was taken can also affect an image's color.

Products that have a shimmering coating will also show differently under different lighting setup. Colors might appear different even under a fluorescent light or a warmer shade bulb.
